Hello, November! Wow! I can't believe the month of October is over. It seems like it flew by. We enjoyed many fun events this month. The local fire departments visited for Fire Prevention Day. We learned about fire safety during the presentations and also got to see the trucks and equipment up close. We even got to sit inside the fire truck!
       There was a great character education assembly thanks to our awesome PBIS team at school. The NED show was a hit! NED stands for: Never give up, Encourage others, and Do your best! It was a great message for all and the yo-yo tricks were awesome!
       Our Halloween party couldn't have gone any better. Everyone got to paint a pumpkin and we enjoyed tons of treats thanks to many parents! A HUGE thank you to the parent volunteers that hosted the party and ALL the families that sent in treats! It is so appreciated! Hope you enjoy the pictures!

Happy Wednesday! Thank you to everyone for attending your child's Open House last week. I really enjoyed meeting each of you and look forward to a wonderful year in second grade!

I can't believe September is almost over! Below are some pictures from our first few weeks together. In the pictures we are building our reading stamina during Read to Self and practicing our fact fluency games so we can get our Math Workshop up and running! The children have done a great job adjusting to the new routines and expectations in second grade. Enjoy the pictures!
