Happy Wednesday! Thank you to everyone for attending your child's Open House last week. I really enjoyed meeting each of you and look forward to a wonderful year in second grade!

I can't believe September is almost over! Below are some pictures from our first few weeks together. In the pictures we are building our reading stamina during Read to Self and practicing our fact fluency games so we can get our Math Workshop up and running! The children have done a great job adjusting to the new routines and expectations in second grade. Enjoy the pictures!

Happy Friday! We had a very busy, but fun week together! Your children have been working so hard in school. The beginning of the year can be difficult. There are so many new procedures, routines, and schedules. The kiddos are adapting and adjusting very well! 
The first spelling list came home with your child today. There is no "structured" homework for the spelling words over the weekend, but feel free to get a head start with reviewing and familiarizing your child with their spelling words. The spelling homework will come home with your child on Monday, September 21st. The spelling test will be on Friday, September 25th. Please let me know if you have any questions!

Hello! I am so glad our website is up and running! Phew! We made it through our first 4 days of school! We have been off to an AMAZING start so far! I can already tell that these kiddos are hard-working and ready to learn. I have truly enjoyed getting to know each and every one of them.
